Bingham faced Riverton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Miners put the hurt on the Silverwolves with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Miners, who have now won five contests in a row.

One reason for the win was Bingham's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 25-13.

Brody Siddoway paced Bingham's offense, picking up 12 kills. Siddoway got some help from Derek Peterson and his 22 assists. Peterson was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Bingham's victory bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Riverton, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Bingham and Syracuse, after both having extra time off, will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court on Wednesday. As for Riverton, they will square off against Corner Canyon on Wednesday.
