Soccer Game Preview: Marysville-Pilchuck vs. Marysville Getchell

The Marysville-Pilchuck Tomahawks will head out on the road to face off against Marysville Getchell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Marysville-Pilchuck is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Marysville-Pilchuck came up short against Monroe on Friday, falling 6-2. While losing is never fun, Marysville-Pilchuck can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 231st, while Monroe are ranked 21st).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Marysville Getchell, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They never let Snohomish get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Friday.

Abdala Hassani was the driving force of Marysville Getchell's attack as he scored both of Marysville Getchell's goals, bringing his season total up to 12 goals.

Marysville-Pilchuck's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Marysville Getchell, they now have a winning record of 5-4-2.
