Basketball Recap: Jackson North Side Takes a Loss

Jackson North Side was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 49-31 to the Chester County Eagles. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-29 on January 9th.

Despite the loss, Jackson North Side saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jada Vandiver posted 15 points and four steals. That's the most points Vandiver has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Azarria Conerly, who scored seven points and three steals.

Jackson North Side's defeat dropped their record down to 3-21. As for Chester County, their victory bumped their record up to 5-12.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Jackson South Side the next time they take the court. Chester County will host Jackson South Side at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Jackson North Side will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th.
