Baseball Game Preview: James Island Trojans vs. Gainesville Red Elephants

James Island's tournament run continued when they took on Great Bridge on Tuesday. The Trojans came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 5-1.

Meanwhile, Gainesville came up short against Marvin Ridge on Tuesday and fell 6-2. The Red Elephants have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dawson Vaughn was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run. Konnor Conway also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

James Island's victory bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Gainesville, their loss dropped their record down to 14-12.
