Softball Preview: The Dalles Riverhawks vs. Bend Lava Bears        
        
		
            
 The Dalles Riverhawks will head out on the road to  take on  the Bend Lava Bears at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the  matchup red-hot, with The Dalles sitting on  20 straight  victories and Bend on 15.
 The Dalles is headed into the  game fresh off scoring the most  runs they have all season. They were the clear victor by  a  24-9 margin over Barlow on Monday. The Dalles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won 18 matches by six  runs or more this season.
  Jeilane Stewart was a standout: she fired off three  home runs, seven  RBI,  and four  runs while going 4-for-6. The team also got some help courtesy of  Zoe Lebreton, who  went 3-for-5 with a  home run, four  runs,  and four  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Bend stacked  an  11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Mountain View 18-3.
  Addisen Fisher and  Taylor Aldrich made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound,  Fisher   struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and not a single walk). Meanwhile,  Aldrich   struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up  three earned runs off   three  hits. Fisher has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive pitching appearances. At the plate,  Fisher  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances, while  Aldrich  went 2-for-5 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.
 In other batting news,  Bryanna Schaefer was  incredible,  going 4-for-5 with a  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Mackenzie Shaughnessy, who  scored three  runs while going 3-for-4.
 The Dalles' win was  their 21st straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 21-1. As for Bend, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 16 of their last 17 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record  this season.
