Roswell has gone 9-1 against Carlsbad recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Coyotes will host the Cavemen/Cavegirls at 6:00 p.m. Roswell is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Roswell had taken Hobbs down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Coyotes took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-16, 18-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Carlsbad didn't have quite enough to beat Clovis on Tuesday and fell 3-2. The Cavemen/Cavegirls haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Carlsbad took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-23, 22-25, 18-25, 25-20, 15-8.

Roswell's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Carlsbad, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.

Roswell took their victory against Carlsbad when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Coyotes repeat their success, or do the Cavemen/Cavegirls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
