Volleyball Recap: Regents' Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Regents had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They blew past the Mt. Carmel Christian Academy Warriors 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 two weeks ago.

While Regents won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-7, 28-26.

Cameron Smith paced Regents' offense, picking up ten kills. Smith got some help from Keely McReynolds and her 23 assists. Smith was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 11 aces.

Regents' win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Mt. Carmel Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Regents wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against United Christian Academy on the 26th. As for Mt. Carmel Christian Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Redeemer Classical on the 26th.
