It was a good run, but Cambridge unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 57-36 to the Hewitt-Trussville Huskies. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 173rd in Georgia, while the Huskies are ranked eighth in Alabama).

Cambridge's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Hewitt-Trussville, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-4.

Cambridge and Auburn will round out the year against one another at at 10:30 a.m. on Monday. As for Hewitt-Trussville, they will take on Thomas County Central at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Hewitt-Trussville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
