The Cranston East Thunderbolts scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Mt. Pleasant 66-39 at home. That looming 66-39 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Cranston East yet this season.
Mya Jiminez continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 28 points. That makes it eight consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Cranston East's points. Another player making a difference was Bella Dupret, who scored 12 points.
Cranston East's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Mt. Pleasant, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Mt. Hope the next time they take the court. Cranston East will head out to face Mt. Hope at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Mt. Pleasant will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
