Softball Recap: Rio Vista Takes a Loss

Rio Vista suffered their closest loss since April 23, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Lindhurst Blazers by a score of 6-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blazers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-2 on Tuesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Rio Vista and nudges their season record down to 9-7. As for Lindhurst, they pushed their record up to 13-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Rio Vista does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lindhurst, they will be playing at home against San Juan at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
