Recap: Millikan Rams vs. Woodrow Wilson Bruins
The Millikan Rams pushed their score all the way to 75 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Woodrow Wilson by a score of 78-75. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Wednesday (71), Millikan still had to take the loss.
Millikan's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jeremiah Hunt, who scored 28 points along with five steals, and Dylan Williams who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. The contest was Hunt's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Corlin Bryant, who scored seven points.
Millikan struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Millikan has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Woodrow Wilson, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.
