Basketball Recap: Erie Tigers vs. Arvada West Wildcats
Erie had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 35-25 to the Arvada West Wildcats on Tuesday.
Erie lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Addison Greenlee, who posted four points plus five rebounds and three blocks. Natalie Fetters was another key player, posting six points plus two steals.
Arvada West can attribute much of their success to Avery Harrison, who posted ten points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Saylor Swanson, who scored eight points.
Coincidentally, Erie and Arvada West will both be playing George Washington the next time they take the court. Erie will host George Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Arvada West will head out to face them at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
