Littleton has gone 9-1 against Groveton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Crusaders will take on the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Littleton and Woodsville, and Woodsville kept the tradition alive. The Crusaders took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Engineers on Monday.

Groveton couldn't beat Colebrook Academy on Monday even though they stacked six runs on them in the first inning. The Eagles lost 21-11 to the Mohawks. Surprisingly, this marked the Eagles' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Littleton dropped their record down to 7-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Groveton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Littleton took their win against Groveton when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 15-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crusaders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
