Newberg has gone a perfect 6-0 against Glencoe recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Crimson Tide at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Glencoe will be up against a hot Newberg squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. The Tigers came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 48-42 W against Liberty.

Newberg had a senior duo take command as Parker Sellner threw for 91 yards and three touchdowns and Ethan Hein gained 107 total yards.

Newberg was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 236 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Glencoe got themselves on the board against Century on Friday, but Century never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Jaguars 44-0. The Crimson Tide might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 29 points or more this season.

Newberg better keep an eye on Daniel Heninger. He was instrumental in Glencoe's win, rushing for 298 yards and three scores on only 15 carries. Heninger is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 213 every time he's taken the field this season.

Glencoe didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Tayvin Crowell and Collin Stortro.

Newberg's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Glencoe, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Newberg won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in October of 2023, slipping by Glencoe 21-20. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Crimson Tide have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
