Liberty's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's sixth consecutive shutout on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns a 17-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 12 games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Liberty is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Hamshire-Fannett, their loss dropped their record down to 16-16-2.

Coming up, Liberty will be playing in front of their home fans against Grandview at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Zebras will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. Hamshire-Fannett does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
