Basketball Recap: Vincennes Lincoln's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

If Vincennes Lincoln was riding high fresh off their 49-10 takedown of Clay City back in December of 2024, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vincennes Lincoln Alices came up short against the Evansville Central Bears on Wednesday, falling 69-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Alices have suffered against the Bears since February 5, 2015.

It was another big night for Madalynn Shirley, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 16 rebounds for Evansville Central. Shirley's evening made it eight games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Olivya Hile, who posted 11 points.
