The Atlantic Coast Stingrays will take on the Sandalwood Saints in a tournament on Tuesday. Atlantic Coast is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.

While Atlantic Coast's victory against Bishop Kenny wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Stingrays skirted past the Crusaders 5-3.

Lily Maguire spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on eight hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Maggie Moody, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Sandalwood got themselves on the board against Andrew Jackson on Monday, but Andrew Jackson never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 12-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Saints.

Atlantic Coast's record now sits at 16-2. As for Sandalwood, their record is now 7-10.

Atlantic Coast beat Sandalwood 14-11 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Stingrays since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
