Vega posted their biggest win since December 6th on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Johnson City Eagles as the Vega Longhorns made off with a 49-26 victory. The Longhorns pushed the score to 40-15 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.

The win made it two in a row for Vega and bumps their season record up to 12-5. As for Johnson City, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-3.

Vega and Johnson City should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings.
