Baseball Recap: Ocoee Comes Up Short

Seminole hit Ocoee with a four-run third inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Knights took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seminoles.

Serico Allen made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Zavian Palmer was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Ocoee's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Seminole, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-18.

Coincidentally, Ocoee and Seminole will both be playing Lake Brantley the next time they take the field. The Seminoles will host the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Knights will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
