Volleyball Recap: Glenn Comes Up Short

Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Southwest Guilford Cowboys.

Glenn was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-22, 25-19.

Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Southwest Guilford, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Glenn has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Tri-City Christian on the 15th. As for Southwest Guilford, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on East Forsyth at 5:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
