After low-scoring totals in their previous eight game, Miramonte brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They breezed past the Ygnacio Valley Wolves to the tune of 40-6 on Wednesday. The Matadors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Miramonte moved to 2-7 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak. As for Ygnacio Valley, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Looking ahead, Miramonte will host Alhambra at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs' defense has only allowed nine points per game this season, so the Matadors' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Ygnacio Valley, they will square off against Las Lomas at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
