Volleyball Recap: Cottonwood Has No Trouble Against Cyprus

Cottonwood won the last time they faced Cyprus and things went their way on Thursday too. The Colts put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Colts.

Cottonwood never let Cyprus on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14, 25-22.

The victory got Cottonwood back to even at 8-8. As for Cyprus, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Cottonwood will square off against Taylorsville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. After both having extra time off, Cyprus and Granger will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th.
