Volleyball Recap: David City Gets the Win

David City's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Central City Bison by a score of 2-0. The win continues a trend for the Scouts in their matchups with the Bison: they've now won four in a row.

While David City might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Central City scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20.

Kamryn Behrns paced David City's offense, picking up 14 kills. Behrns got some help from Sadie Nicolas and her 17 assists.

David City's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Central City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9.

David City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against North Bend Central on the 27th. As for Central City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Aquinas on the 27th.
