Oakleaf won the last time they faced Ridgeview and things went their way on Friday too. The Knights enjoyed a cozy 74-59 victory over the Panthers.

Ridgeview's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gavin Stechschulte, who shot 56% from the field en route to 13 points and seven boards. Justyn Cappas was another key player, going 5-for-12 to rack up 15 points and six assists.

The win got Oakleaf back to even at 1-1. As for Ridgeview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Looking ahead, Oakleaf will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Sandalwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ridgeview, they have already played their next game, a 65-32 victory against Old Plank Christian Academy on the 22nd.
