Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Jaylise Applegate stepped things up a notch to give Manchester the 'W'. Applegate scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-5, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Coming up, Applegate and Manchester will welcome Northwest at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Manchester hasn't beaten Northwest recently, having gone 0-4 since April of 2015.
