It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Redlands East Valley can now relate to. They lost 9-2 to the Oaks Christian Lions on Friday. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their 13-game winning streak.

Redlands East Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ty Whittle, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Redlands East Valley's loss dropped their record down to 20-9. As for Oaks Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.
