Soccer Game Preview: Westside vs. Cambridge Academy

The Westside Rams will head out on the road to take on the Cambridge Academy Cougars at 6:03 p.m. on Thursday.

Westside is leaving town to face Cambridge Academy after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Rams came up short against Belton-Honea Path on Thursday, falling 12-0.

Meanwhile, Cambridge Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against Abbeville on Tuesday as they made off with a 9-0 victory.

Westside couldn't quite get it done against Cambridge Academy when the teams last played back in March of 2025 as they fell 3-1. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
