Baseball Recap: Sabetha Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Sabetha and Hesston squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Sabetha had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Swathers by a score of 7-6.

Sabetha has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-13 record this season. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.33 runs. As for Hesston, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-6.

As of now, neither Sabetha nor the Swathers have any future games scheduled.
