Baseball Game Preview: Rock Hill Blue Hawks vs. Heritage Coyotes

The Rock Hill Blue Hawks will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Heritage Coyotes at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Rock Hill will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Rock Hill will bounce into Saturday's contest after beating Allen, who they had gone 0-5 against in their five prior meetings. The Blue Hawks had just enough and edged out the Eagles 9-8 back in March. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Blue Hawks have posted since February 22nd.

Meanwhile, Heritage came up short against Frisco on Friday, falling 12-3. The Coyotes have struggled against the Raccoons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Heritage saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Swyers, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Another was Ryder Rebel, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17-1. As for Rock Hill, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.
