Baseball Recap: Geneva Knights vs. Trinity Prep Saints

Geneva proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 15) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Trinity Prep Saints. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-1 back in February.

William Thigpen made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Thigpen was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

In other pitching news, Luke Sandberg looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.
