Soccer Recap: Armada Falls Short of Almont in the Playoffs

Armada and Almont squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Armada had to settle for second. They fell 2-0 to the Raiders. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Armada haven't been shut out since back in March.

Armada's defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-3-1. As for Almont, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-4-2.

Armada does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Almont, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 5-1 victory against Williamston on the 3rd.
