Carter-Riverside is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Eastern Hills. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Eagles couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Benbrook entered their tilt with Young Women's Leadership Academy on Friday with 11 consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with 12. Their defense stepped up to hand the Lady Owls a 9-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won 13 contests by four goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Young Women's Leadership Academy from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Elizabeth Klaerner led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Benbrook pushed their record up to 16-3-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those seven matchups. As for Carter-Riverside, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.
