Basketball Recap: Teage Corrigan's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Mountain View over Rocky Mountain

Mountain View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 74-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (62), the Mavericks still had to take the loss.

Mountain View lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Teage Corrigan, who went 7 of 12 on his way to 18 points. Zach Smith was another key player, going 7 for 12 en route to 18 points.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Rocky Mountain, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.

Mountain View wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-46 win against Eagle on the 31st. As for Rocky Mountain, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-51 victory against Boise on the 31st.
