Volleyball Recap: Lutheran South Gets the Win

The Lutheran South Lancers were able to grind out a solid victory over the Troy-Buchanan Trojans on Saturday, taking the game 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lancers.

Lutheran South easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-19.

Kyle Buscher paced Lutheran South's offense, picking up six kills. Buscher got some help from Will Krauss and his seven assists. Sam Dicken controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Lutheran South's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Troy-Buchanan, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Lutheran South wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Fort Zumwalt South on the 29th. Troy-Buchanan has also already played their next match (against Chaminade), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
