Volleyball Recap: Waupaca's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Waupaca waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Freedom Irish by a score of 2-0. The Comets were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Irish, so the Comets were just returning the favor.

Waupaca found their leader in sophomore Sage Soto, who had five digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Soto.

Waupaca's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Freedom, they moved to 10-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Waupaca will take on Wisconsin Dells at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Freedom, they will challenge Winneconne at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
