Softball Recap: Olympus Titans vs. Alta Hawks
Olympus had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They blew past the Alta Hawks 15-5. Considering the Titans have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Charlie Turner tossed a big game, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Jaedin Mugleston and Charlotte Comer did most of the damage at the plate: Mugleston went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI, while Comer went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs.
