Borden County piles up the points against Alpine

The Borden County Coyotes scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 79-28 win over Alpine on the road. That 79-28 margin sets a new team best for Borden County this season.

Hope Dominguez and Karolina Castillo certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Dominguez dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds, while Castillo scored six points.

Borden County's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Alpine, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-11.

Borden County will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lorenzo at 6:30 p.m. Lorenzo has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Alpine won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Dimmitt at 9:00 a.m. on December 29th. Dimmitt is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
