Recap: Durand Railroaders vs. Chesaning Indians        
        
		
            
 It was a good run, but  the Durand Railroaders unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a  54-40 bruising from Chesaning. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest  points Durand has scored all season.
 Despite the  loss, Durand saw an underclassman step up:  Darius Aldrich  scored eight points along with 14  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Levi Smith, who  scored seven points along with two  steals.
 Durand's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Chesaning, they pushed their record up to 11-0 with that  victory, which was their seventh straight  at home.
 Durand will take on Byron at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Byron will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings (they are ranked 638th, while Durand is ranked 285th). As for Chesaning, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Lakeville at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Lakeville is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
