Volleyball Recap: River Falls Beats Osceola for Their Third Straight Victory

River Falls waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Osceola Chieftains. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While River Falls won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-23.

Their offense was headlined by Brooke Dusek and Amelie Pankonin, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Allie Larsen and her 13 assists. Charlie Cegielski controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

River Falls' win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, River Falls will venture away from home to square off against Menomonie at 7:00 p.m. on September 4. As for Osceola, they will challenge Unity at 7:30 p.m. on September 4.
