Baseball Game Preview: Lee Vining Tigers vs. Mammoth Huskies

Lee Vining hasn't had much luck against Mammoth recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Tigers will look to defend their home field against the Huskies at 3:15 p.m. One thing working in Lee Vining's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last five contests.

On Saturday, Lee Vining got the win against Mojave by a conclusive 11-1. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Mammoth fell victim to Desert and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 11-0 to the Scorpions. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mammoth saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Santiago Osnaya, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Lee Vining pushed their record up to 6-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.4 runs over those games. As for Mammoth, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.
