Volleyball Recap: Chaparral Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Chaparral can now relate to. They fell just short of the Valor Christian Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Wolverines have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Harper Scott was nothing short of spectacular for Valor Christian: she had 24 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Scott has posted over her last six matches.

Chaparral's loss dropped their record down to 24-8. As for Valor Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Chaparral nor Valor Christian have any future games scheduled.
