There's no place like home for New Braunfels Thunder, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Living Rock Academy Bobcat by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Homeschool in their matchups with the Bobcat: they've now won three in a row.

In the three sets New Braunfels Thunder was on fire: they won each by at least 16 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-2, 25-7, 19-25, 25-9.

Among those leading the charge was Kaitlyn Buchert, who had four assists and three aces. Those four assists gave her a new career-high. Mimi Flores also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

New Braunfels Thunder's win bumped their record up to 8-2-1. As for Living Rock Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Braunfels Thunder will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against St. Michael's at 6:30 p.m. on September 9. As for Living Rock Academy, they will head out to face off against Great Hearts Western Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
