Preview: Jordan Warriors vs. Seven Lakes Spartans
The Jordan Warriors will be home for the holidays to greet the Seven Lakes Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jordan is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
Last Monday, Jordan lost to Cinco Ranch on the road by a decisive 59-44 margin. While losing is never fun, Jordan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 665th, while Cinco Ranch is ranked 150th).
Seven Lakes has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 24 points or more this season. They blew past Mayde Creek, posting a 81-36 victory at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Seven Lakes.
Jordan has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Seven Lakes, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.
Jordan came up short against Seven Lakes when the teams last played back in January, falling 67-56. Can Jordan avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
