Volleyball Recap: Pompano Beach Wins Going Away Against Boyd Anderson

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Pompano Beach walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Boyd Anderson Cobras on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Tornadoes.

Gabriel Souza paced Pompano Beach's offense, picking up 12 kills. Souza got some help from Sebastian Palacios and his 17 assists. Spencer Sadeya controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Pompano Beach now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Boyd Anderson, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Coming up, Pompano Beach will square off against Fort Lauderdale at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Boyd Anderson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
