Basketball Recap: Union City Comes Up Short

Union City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by the St. Peter's Prep Marauders and fell 67-26. While losing is never fun, the Soaring Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 134th, while the Marauders are ranked third).

Union City's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for St. Peter's Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 19-4.

Union City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Peter's Prep, they will take on Dickinson at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
