Basketball Recap: Edon Comes Up Short

Edon lost against Montpelier back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Edon Bombers were dealt a 55-26 defeat at the hands of the Montpelier Locomotives. While losing is never fun, the Bombers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 691st, while the Locomotives are ranked 274th).

Edon dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Montpelier, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.

Edon will head out to face off against Stryker at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th. As for Montpelier, they will take on Hilltop at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
