Volleyball Recap: Hayden Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Hayden lost against Vail Christian back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers came up short against the Saints, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-10, 25-17.

Ella Harris paced Hayden's offense, picking up five kills. Harris got some help from Chase Howard and her seven assists. Finally, Kiera Faucett and Cydney Witherell kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked two attacks.

Vail Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Camden Allen led the charge by getting four aces and three digs. That's the most aces Allen has posted over her last seven contests.

Hayden dropped their record down to 5-15 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Vail Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Hayden didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against De Beque on the 25th. As for Vail Christian, after both having extra time off, they and North Park will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
