Baseball Recap: Edmondson-Westside Comes Up Short

Edmondson-Westside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Patterson Clippers, falling 24-12. On the bright side, the 12- run effort marked the Red Storm's highest-scoring game to date.

Edmondson-Westside's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Patterson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-0-1.

Looking ahead, Edmondson-Westside will face off against Digital Harbor on Monday. As for Patterson, they will challenge Academy for College and Career Exploration at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
