Havana won the last time they faced Peoria Heights and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Ducks had just enough and edged out the Patriots 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Ducks.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Havana got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 21-25, 25-20.

Kaydi Miller paced Havana's offense, picking up 11 kills. Miller got some help from Lillian Porter and her 15 assists. Porter was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Havana's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Peoria Heights, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-12.

Looking ahead, Havana will welcome Macomb at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Peoria Heights, they will head out on the road to face off against Cuba/Spoon River Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
