On Thursday Lamar County will have to hit the road after four straight games at home. They will venture away from home to challenge the Tattnall Square Academy Trojans at 5:00 p.m. Tattnall Square Academy took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Lamar County, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, Lamar County sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Crawford County.
Lamar County was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least nine points. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-12, 15-6.
Meanwhile, Tattnall Square Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-0 to Stratford Academy, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-8, 25-15.
Lamar County is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Tattnall Square Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.
